Hi, my name is Jeroen, and I can help you. 

One-on-one sessions

Whether it's pronunciation, grammar, writing skills or conversation, the focus will be on your needs during an one-on-one session. You bring the book and decide on a location within walking distance from a train station; I'll bring the knowledge of Dutch to help you on your way.

Dutch Day

A school day will teach you all about grammar and writing, but a language is mainly a spoken matter. Once a month, I'll take a maximum of three people on a hike of a few hours through a forest area just south of Amsterdam that's loaded with Dutch history and culture (including a stop for Dutch pancakes!). I'll hand the route description to all participants and let you find our way. In the meantime, we speak Dutch only. It might not be the deepest or fastest of conversations, but the idea is to get away from an environment in which your native language and/or English is/are dominant and enhance your spoken Dutch in the fastest way possible: practice, practice, practice. Even though the hike and the lunch break together should take no longer than four to five hours, I call this Dutch Day - as by the end of it you'll feel as if an entire day has gone by.
